This Week with the Chicowitz

Eat the Rich!

You see, we've taken all of the profits, all of the salaries, all of the assets, all of the expenses and revenues and holdings of the rich, and We've liquidated them. President Obama, meanwhile, is proposing that we spend another $3.6 trillion in 2012. One thousand billion of that is more than we take in. And that assumes 2.6 trillion in revenues. But revenues from what? We’ve destroyed the private capital. We've destroyed advertising revenues; We've destroyed professional sports. We've taken every penny that people have to put into new businesses to pay for things. It's all gone. We ate the rich. We ate everything they had. And we scraped through... for one year. Now what?

Eye Remember... June 12, 1987:

"Mr. Gorbachev; tear down this wall!"

It was during a speech at the Berlin Wall, on June 12, 1987.

"There is one sign the Soviets can make that would be unmistakable, that would advance dramatically the cause of freedom and peace. Secretary General Gorbachev, if you seek peace–if you seek prosperity for the Soviet Union and Eastern Europe - if you seek liberalization: come here, to this gate. Mr. Gorbachev, open this gate. Mr. Gorbachev, tear down this wall!"

Two years later, the call came down. Not a single shot was fired.

3. We're going to focus on girls' names here in the trivia section... until... until we run out of girls. We have binders full of them.

This is from a classic love song recorded in 1950. But many singers have recorded is since then.

_________, _________, men have named you
You're so like the lady with the mystic smile
Is it only 'cause you're lonely they have blamed you?
For that _________ strangeness in your smile?
Do you smile to tempt a lover, _________?
Or is this your way to hide a broken heart?

Who's the girl?

.

(We are close to running out of girls. Can you think of any names we have missed? Click reply; help keep this going.)
